I inherited an appreciation of design and a life-long interest in fashion from my mother, who stressed finding and maintaining your individual style. Most of my creative background is as a writer.

When I had a spine injury early in this decade, I had to learn to do some basic tasks in new ways. Eventually, I went looking for jewelry pieces that were easier to wear but couldn't find a source. I talked to friends in different situations. Some of us are just getting a little older. Manipulating small parts seems trickier. Maybe we're asking for help with our necklaces more. We want alternatives, and we just don't have the time to fuss with things that are difficult to manage.

I decided to follow my dream of creating jewelry and do it with a personal twist. It ís about our lives and our Abilities. Jewelry should be fun, not frustrating. I often create pieces that have themes and meanings beyond what you see at first. I love color, experimentation and mixing materials. Upcycling and repurposing is the name of the game whether it's creating a new design or making lemonade out of some lemons life has handed you.

I'm always here to listen to your ideas. Maybe we could work together to create a new design or make one more comfortable. It ís time to take bloom. It ís about you.
